What is a Digital HD Antenna?

The obvious (and correct!) answer is any antenna which receives a digital Signal well enough to allow reliable HD viewing. The word reliable cannot be over stressed because the digital cliff edge can make viewing digital a very frustrating experience if your signal is marginal. Generally speaking a Digital HDTV antenna installation is one where the signal reception quality is maximized in order to minimize the effects of the digital cliff edge. This may require a different group or quality of antenna, upgraded cable, a better quality amplifier/splitter, or maybe nothing at all!

HDTV Antennas Are Antennas That Pick Up The Channels Broadcast In HD. In Perth we need to change all the old antennas 10years+ as picking up ABC will be problematic due to signals being changed and old antenna not being designed to pick them up. Antenna styles and design will differ depending on your geography and signal level, check before buying your antenna that your using a suitable one for your area
