Digital TV Negatives

When the digital switch over occurs those with portable TVs running off set top Antennas or coat hangers are likely to be affected the most. Many people use portables in upstairs Rooms, boats, caravans or sheds etc.. and put up with a watchable but Less than perfect picture. Unfortunately, unless they live in areas with a Reasonably strong signal, they may not get much worth watching at all after The switch off come 2013. The Digital Cliff Edge will be the cause of many a frustrated TV viewer

Caravan, boat owners Rural Dwellers and the "Grey Nomads "out there will suffer Will Suffer Most from the digital TV switch over as not having a robust constant Digital Signal from the Antenna installation will affect picture quality to the point of utter Annoyance.

The Government so I hear will be offering digital TV through satellite receivers ( Search vast Satellite ) For those in poor signal areas so all hope is not lost. Just makes things more of a pain for portability and make things more expensive
