Will I Need A New TV Antenna ?
In most cases, existing antennas that are in good condition and connected Using quality coaxial cable are capable of providing adequate reception in good signal areas. However, in some areas of Perth where signal is not so good the new channels Used for digital TV services may be incompatible with old antennas due to the sensitive nature of the antenna design and signal pick up that currently still In use for existing analog channels on older antennas.
Digital Uses Different Elements Antenna To PicK Up Signals
I Would Recommend An Upgrade If:
- If Your Antenna Is Older Than 8-10 Years
- If Your Antenna Is Starting To Break, Bend or Shake
- If You Have More than 3-4 TV Points from the Antenna and week signal
- If Your Antennas Line Of Sight Is Obstructed By Trees, Buildings Etc
- You Are Experiencing Pixilation and "no signal" of Digital Channels
